WELCOME!!
We are excited you have chosen to be a part of West Snyder AYSO as we believe we offer the best youth sports experience in Western Snyder County. Please read through this entire page as it contains everything you need to know to register for Fall AYSO soccer. If you have any other general questions about our program you should find the answers you need in the resources under the About menu.
IS MY CHILD ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
Children between the ages of 5-15 are eligible to play. The age guide below will help you easily determine what division your child will play in.
BIRTH YEAR | DIVISION |
2013 | 6U |
2012 | 6U |
2011 | 8U |
2010 | 8U |
2009 | 10U |
2008 | 10U |
2007 | 12U |
2006 | 12U |
2005 | 15U |
2004 | 15U |
2003 | 15U |
If your child is young for their school grade chances are their birth date may put them in a younger division than classmates. If you'd like your child to play with familiar faces from school he/she can play "up" a division. You can request this on your registration form and we will do our best to accommodate.
WHEN SHOULD I REGISTER? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We strongly encourage all of our families to take advantage of early bird registration. Not only does it provide significant cost savings, especially for families with multiple players participating, but it also helps league administrators get a head start on team formation for the upcoming season.
Registration | Start | End | Fee* |
Early Bird Registration (roster spot guaranteed) | 5/1/2017 | 7/15/2017 | $27.50 |
Standard Registration (roster spot usually guaranteed) | 7/16/2017 | 9/8//2017 | $32.50 |

* West Snyder AYSO must pay a mandatory, non-refundable fee of $17.50 per player to the national organization. This player fee is built-in to the fee schedule above however it will show up as a separate line item on your bill when you check out. While registering your players you will notice the program fees are discounted $17.50 to account for this non-refundable portion.
NOTE: The full AYSO season is split between fall and spring seasons. When you register in the fall we automatically register players for the spring. All you have to do is let your coach know that you will be returning in the spring. You DO NOT need to register on this web site for Spring 2018.
Also, if you know your child will only be playing fall session and not spring session we strongly recommend that you take advantage of early bird registration. We do not discount, prorate or refund registration fees for half-season players who register after the early bird deadline or decide over the winter break that they do not want to play spring soccer.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS?
In addition to registration fees each player will need to purchase a jersey, shorts, soccer socks and shin guards. Other items such as cleats, personal soccer ball, etc are optional but recommended.
Uniform Costs
Uniform Kit (includes jersey, shorts and socks) ..... $20
Jersey Only ................................................................ $15 (Required unless you have one that still fits)

Uniform Sizes
Jerseys and shorts run a little big but shorts have a drawstring waist. To save our families some money we do not change uniform colors/styles from year to year. Players may wear the same uniform until they outgrow it. You may order uniforms online during the registration process or purchase them during one of the uniform pickup events.
Youth XS ......... size 4/5
Youth S ......... size 5/6
Youth M .......... size 7/8
Youth L .......... size 10/12
Adult S .......... size 14/16 (comparable to a youth XL)

* Soccer ball (OPTIONAL)…size 3 for 6U/8U; size 4 for 10U/12U; size 5 for U15U.
* Cleats (OPTIONAL)…cleats are not mandatory but you'll see most kids wearing them.
SO HOW DO I REGISTER?
All player registrations must be completed online through this website - NO EXCEPTIONS! If you do not have access to an Internet-connected computer please contact a board member to discuss options.
To get started you need to create an account on this website. If you’ve already registered on this site in the past you can use the same account you setup during that process. Just click the ‘Login’ button found at the top right of the page and login:
If you have not previously created an account just click the ‘Register Now’ button found at the top right of the page and follow the on-screen instructions:
Once your account is created you will receive an email with all the details for handy reference.
NOTE: If you experience problems logging into the website there are troubleshooting steps under the ‘Registration’ menu on the website.
Once you are logged in the website will walk you through a series of screens where you will enter/confirm your contact information, enter your player(s) information and select the programs you are interested in. You will also be able to purchase uniforms. The entire process is automated and should only take 5-10 minutes. When you have completed registration you will receive an order confirmation email at the email address you provide.
I’M REGISTERED! NOW WHAT?
The regional leadership team and team coaches will meet in early August and coaches will receive their rosters. Your child's coach will contact you and provide all the team-specific details (when practices start, game schedule, team rules, etc.)
Practices usually begin in mid-August and games begin in early September. The season runs about 8-10 weeks depending on holidays and normally wraps up the last week of October.
LATE REGISTRATION (WAITLIST)
The registration process is identical however you will not pay until a space is available. If we have room to place your child on a team you will receive an automated email from the website with information and instructions on how to proceed. We will make every effort to place waitlisted players on teams but there are no guarantees.
MY CHILD DECIDED NOT TO PLAY OR WAS WAITLISTED AND WAS NOT ABLE TO BE PLACED ON A TEAM BUT WE ALREADY PAID THE REGISTRATION AND UNIFORM FEES. IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
Yes, it is available on the website under the registration tab.
FINALLY...
It is extremely important that parents provide us with accurate phone and email contact information when registering their kids for AYSO soccer. League officials, coaches and other volunteers will need to reach out to you regularly during the season and this website and email are the most reliable ways of doing so. If you do not check your email at least once per day you are likely going to miss out on important things you need to know. We also post important dates and events on our Facebook page so if social media is your thing be sure to click the Facebook link on our website to follow us.
Also, please keep in mind that a considerable amount of time and effort are required by the dedicated AYSO volunteers behind the scenes to ensure each season is safe and enjoyable for everyone involved. We have to set registration deadlines so that teams can be formed and the area scheduler has sufficient time to create fair and balanced game schedules and the only way that can happen is if we know how many teams there are. The deadlines affect not only our West Snyder region but the entire area in which we play. Our area includes the communities of Lewisburg, Middleburg, Line Mountain (Herndon), Mifflinburg, Milton, Northumberland, Selinsgrove, and Warrior Run (Watsontown/Turbotville).
If you have any questions about our registration process please contact our regional registrar by email at [email protected].
Thank you for supporting West Snyder AYSO and have a great season!
